Frequently Asked Questions
If you’re a YPO learning officer, education chair, chapter manager, or forum moderator looking for an event speaker or a Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF), you’re in the right place. I’ve designed this page to answer the most common questions about my work as a YPO chapter keynote speaker, forum retreat facilitator, and couples retreat facilitator. These FAQs will help you quickly see if I’m the right fit for your chapter, forum, or couples program — and how to take the next step.
What makes Dr. Jenn a strong fit for YPO chapters and forums?
I’ve been speaking and facilitating for more than three decades around our most uncomfortable and important topics, plus I understand the unique needs of high-performing leaders. As a sociologist, speaker, Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF), and intimacy coach, I’m often hired as a YPO chapter event speaker or a YPO forum retreat facilitator because I combine professional expertise with an engaging, approachable, and fun style. My work helps leaders connect more deeply in their marriages, families, and forums — while also strengthening their leadership presence.
What topics do you specialize in for YPO audiences?
For YPO chapter events or YPO couples’ retreats, I focus on vulnerability, emotional intimacy, physical connection, and effective communication. Popular topics include:
Sex(y) Game Show & The Top Barriers to Intimacy
The 5 Keys to Lasting Intimacy
Mindful Intimacy: The Art of Meaningful Connection for Couples
Rewriting Our Sex & Intimacy Stories
Intimacy 360 through the “Red Rope”
Each talk or retreat is customized to fit your chapter’s goals and audience mix, whether that’s members only, spouses/partners, or couples. Many chapters bring me in as a YPO chapter speaker on intimacy and connection or as a couples retreat facilitator.
What makes Dr. Jenn’s approach unique?
My work combines three decades of experience in intimacy education, with my academic training as a PhD in sociology, and 17 years as a relationship and intimacy coach, with my role as a Certified Forum Facilitator. This means I don’t just give a keynote about intimacy and connection — I create safe, interactive spaces where members and spouses can actually practice the skills of generous listening, vulnerability, and deeper communication. My background as a sociologist allows me to ground these conversations in research, while my coaching style keeps them practical and relatable. Plus, I really like to laugh and have fun!
Do you offer programs for YPO forums, retreats, or chapter events?
Yes. I work with YPO in several formats:
Forum Retreats — Highly interactive, confidential sessions that deepen trust and connection.
Chapter Keynotes — Engaging large-group presentations with interactive elements.
Couples Programs — Retreats or evening sessions that help partners strengthen intimacy and communication.
Whether it’s a 90-minute interactive talk, a half-day retreat, or a full-day experience, I tailor the design to your group’s needs. I’m often hired as a YPO forum retreat facilitator, a chapter event speaker, or a couples retreat facilitator.
Does she work with EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) as well as YPO?
Yes. While my primary focus is YPO, I also work as an EO chapter and forum retreat speaker. The topics and approach are very similar, but my deep experience with YPO forum retreats means I bring a high level of understanding of confidentiality, forum culture, and the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurial leaders across both organizations.
Are you a Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF)?
Yes, I am a Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF), often engaged by YPO forums looking for an experienced and unique retreat facilitator. I understand YPO’s forum protocols, the 4-Step Exploration process, the culture of confidentiality, and the special opportunity to cultivate a transformational forum experience. This allows me to both facilitate a forum retreat and integrate content around intimacy, meaning, and connection.
Where are you based, and do you travel for YPO events?
I’m based in San Diego, California, and I regularly travel nationally and internationally to work with YPO chapters and forums. I also offer virtual programs when that’s the best fit.
How much does it cost to bring you in for a YPO event?
My fees vary depending on the program format (keynote, forum retreat, or couples retreat), travel requirements, and group size. I’m happy to provide a clear proposal once I understand your chapter or forum’s goals and needs.
What do YPO members and their spouses/partners gain from your speaking at events?
The leaders I work with often say they leave with:
Practical tools to create more intimacy and trust in their marriages and families.
Stronger listening skills that improve both personal and professional relationships.
A safer space to explore uncomfortable but important topics.
A renewed sense of vitality, connection, understanding, love, and courage.
This feedback comes from both YPO chapter events and couples retreats, and members often highlight how these skills carry into other parts of their lives.
What feedback have you received from other YPO chapters and forums?
YPO members and spouses often tell me (and write on feedback forms) that they appreciated my humor and warmth, as well as my ability to make intimate topics approachable, safe, relevant, actionable, and fun. Forum moderators often note that having a Certified Forum Facilitator who also specializes in intimacy creates an especially impactful experience.
How far in advance should we book you?
YPO chapters and forums often plan retreats and learning events several months in advance, and my calendar fills quickly. The earlier you reach out, the better the chance I’ll be available for your preferred dates.
