Intimacy & Relationship Coaching

All couples go through rough patches or times when they feel less connected. This is inevitable in long-term relationships with busy lives, differing needs, changing bodies, and competing priorities.

The following concerns are often difficult for couples to know how to handle with grace and ease, and can therefore create bigger problems if not addressed:

  • Mismatched desire levels and sexual needs

  • Feeling disconnected physically and/or emotionally

  • Avoiding discussing difficult topics

  • Feeling unappreciated, disrespected, or taken for granted

  • Pushing your own needs down

  • Lacking quality time and meaningful interactions

Through a combination of research, educational knowledge, humor, coaching skills, East Coast directness, and West Coach compassion, Dr. Jenn will help you regain connection, happiness, and appreciation, and learn new skills and ways to thrive in your relationship.

How the intimacy & relationship coaching process works

Coaching, as compared to therapy, is intended to be short-term and address specific concerns head-on.

Sessions are 60 minutes via Zoom; they strategically focus on your top-priority intimacy or relationship concerns and difficulties. There is always an emphasis on increasing self-awareness and emotional agility, improving communication skills, and overall relationship skill-building.

You can do sessions alone or with your partner.

Each session ends with “homework assignments” to reinforce and build on what was discussed and learned in the session.

Intensives are also available, with sessions lasting 3-4 hours to facilitate deeper dives and quicker progress; this kind of accelerated coaching is ideally done in person.
