Tinder's new "Blind Date" feature -- Will it help?

In the past 6 months or so, the dating app Tinder, known for its particularly superficial approach to dating, has been expanding their user options for getting to know each other.

Then they have a texting chat and see the information in the other’s profile. If they both “swipe right” and match with each other, only THEN will they be able to see each other’s photos.
